Our place is on the first floor over in the 2nd Stage of the area. It’s 5th Main, right in Ward 11. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s not too bad. We deal with hardmetal parts and inserts. The office is pretty simple, just desks and some sample cases. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to customers about their machining needs. It gets a little cramped when we have a big shipment arriving. There's always some construction happening on the street outside, so there’s a lot of dust. We try to keep the windows shut to keep the noise down. The light in the office is okay during the morning, but we need the lamps on by four o’clock. Most of us have worked here long enough that we don’t need to look at the catalogs much. We know what fits and what doesn't. Sometimes we have tea breaks and talk about the weekend. It’s just a regular workplace. Nothing flashy. We’re located at 118/119 on the 1st Floor. It’s easy to find if you know the BBMP ward layout. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The metal business is steady, which is good enough for us. We handle the paperwork and the distribution without making a big fuss about it. The guys in the warehouse are usually busy packing stuff up for delivery to the factories around here.
