M.M. Evening Commerce College

This college is located on Queens Road in Shivaji Nagar, right on H.K.P. Road in Bengaluru. It is an evening college, so things here are a bit different than at a regular daytime school. We usually start getting ready when the sun is going down and the rest of the city is finishing work. The area around Shivaji Nagar is always very busy with traffic and people moving around. Our building sits right in the middle of all that noise. Because it’s an evening commerce college, many of our students come here after they have finished their jobs during the day. They arrive looking a bit tired but ready to sit through their classes. The classrooms are basic, with the usual chairs and whiteboards. We don’t have a big campus with gardens; it’s more of a city building that serves a purpose. It stays open late into the night. You can hear the sound of the city outside while the lectures are going on. Working in Bengaluru, specifically in an area like 560051, means you get used to the hustle. We just focus on the accounting and business subjects that the students need. It’s a straightforward place for people who want to study while they work. There’s no fluff here, just a lot of evening hours spent in the classroom on Queens Road. Karnataka can get humid, so we keep the windows open for a breeze when we can.
