If you are looking for us, we are over at 24 Jaya Chamarajendra Road, right on the second floor of the Kota Complex. We are directly opposite to Hotel Maurya, which is a good landmark because JC Road is always so packed with traffic and people. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step when you're carrying things. Our place is full of tools, hence the name Miranda Tools. We have cabinets and displays, but they are more for storage than for looking pretty. The windows look out over the road and you can see the buses and cars crawling by all day long. It’s a noisy spot but it’s the heart of the tool trade here in the city. We have a small team, and we’re usually all wearing work clothes because there’s always something oily or heavy to move around. We don't have a receptionist or anything; you just walk in and one of us will look up from whatever we are doing at the desk. The building is older, and the walls have that yellowed look that comes with years of city life. We keep a fan going near the counter to stay cool when it gets stuffy. It’s a straightforward kind of shop. We have what we have, and we try to help people find the right size for their projects. It's a lot of manual work and checking sizes, but it keeps us busy from morning until we lock up the complex.
