Mindselect

Mindselect is based out of Bangalore 04. It’s a typical Bangalore office in many ways, meaning we’re always dealing with the local traffic and the weather that changes every five minutes. The space we have is functional. We’ve got rows of tables and chairs, and a small area where we keep the water cooler and some snacks. Most of our day is spent on the phone or responding to emails. Since we deal with selection and hiring, there’s a lot of talking involved. Sometimes the office gets quite loud when everyone is on a call at the same time. We don't have a big HR department or a cleaning crew that comes in every hour; we mostly just tidy up after ourselves. The street outside is usually lined with parked bikes, and there’s a decent place just around the corner that sells good filter coffee, which is where you’ll find at least one of us at any given time. We aren't big on corporate meetings that last for hours. Instead, we just shout across the room if we need to ask someone a question. It’s a bit disorganized at times, with piles of resumes or notes scattered about, but we manage to find what we need. It’s just a normal workplace with people who have been working together for a while and know how to get things finished without making a big deal out of the process or using any corporate buzzwords.
