We are located in the Barton Centre at 808, right on M. G. Road. It’s one of those well-known buildings in the area, so people usually don't have much trouble finding Meridian Exports Pvt. Ltd. Being on M. G. Road means we are right in the thick of everything, which is great for business but terrible for finding a parking spot. Our office is a bit higher up, so we get a decent view of the street below, which is a nice distraction sometimes. Inside, it's a pretty standard setup with desks and a lot of shelving for all the samples and files we keep. We handle all sorts of export tasks, from the initial order to the final delivery. It’s mostly about staying organized and making sure we don't miss any deadlines. We have a small group of employees who have mostly been here for several years. We aren't a big, cold corporation; we know about each other’s families and what everyone did over the weekend. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, so we end up waiting around and chatting with people from the other offices. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up, do the tasks on our list, and try to make sure the customers are satisfied with the results. It’s a practical way of working that has served us well over time.
