If you go to the Yelahanka Bazaar, you know how crowded it gets with all the shoppers and the noise. Our clinic is tucked away on the first floor of building 717, right in Phase 41st Main. You have to walk up the stairs, leaving the busy main road behind you. Up here, it’s a bit quieter, though you can still hear the horns honking down at the bazaar. We’ve got a basic waiting area where people sit and look out the window while they wait for their turn. It’s a simple space with white walls and some old magazines that probably should have been replaced months ago. We spend our mornings getting the instruments ready and making sure the chairs are clean for the first person who walks in. Being in Yelhanka New Town means we see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. People stop by after doing their vegetable shopping downstairs. The light comes in quite nicely through the front windows in the morning, which helps make the place feel less like a clinical office. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things run okay. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is around here in Yelahanka. We aren't trying to be anything fancy, just a local spot for people to get their teeth looked at without having to travel too far into the city. There is always someone coming or going on the stairs.
