Mathew Chacko Foundation

Mathew Chacko Foundation is based in New Thippasandra, specifically at 900 Geethanjali Layout on the 1st Cross Road. It’s a residential area, so we are surrounded by houses and small shops. The office isn't very large, just enough space for a couple of desks and some storage for our papers. We started this because we wanted to do something useful in the memory of Mathew Chacko. It’s a quiet place for the most part, though you can hear the kids playing in the street during the evenings. We handle various tasks throughout the day, mostly just responding to people who reach out to us. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make us look big. It’s just us doing the daily work. Sometimes the neighbors pop in for a chat or to ask what we are working on. Bangalore is busy, but this little corner of Thippasandra feels a bit more like a community. We try to keep our overhead low and just focus on the projects we have in front of us. The floors are a bit worn, and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it’s a comfortable place to work. We don't make a big fuss about what we do. We just show up every morning, open the door, and see what the day brings. It’s a small, family-style operation that cares about the neighborhood and the people in it.
