Maruti Driving School

We are located on the second floor of the Kalyani Motors building on Mysore Road in Bangalore. It is right on the 100 Feet Ring Road, so you can imagine how much traffic we deal with every single day. Finding the place is easy enough if you know the Mysore Road area, but the stairs up to the second floor can be a bit of a climb. Once you get here, it is just a plain office where we sort out the licenses and the class timings. Bangalore is a tough place to learn to drive because of the sheer number of bikes and cars on the road, but we do our best to guide people through it. We spend a lot of time sitting in traffic, teaching people how to balance the clutch so they don't roll back on the flyovers. It’s a lot of patience, both for us and the students. The ring road gives us a lot of different situations to practice in, from fast-moving lanes to the slow crawl of rush hour. We are just a group of people who know these specific Bangalore roads inside out. We don't have any fancy gadgets, just the cars and our own experience. Most people who come to us are just trying to make their daily commute a bit easier. We keep the atmosphere relaxed because learning to drive in this city is stressful enough as it is. We usually have some water and a few chairs for when you're waiting for your turn.
