If you know Bangalore at all, you know that Bannerghatta Road is one of the busiest stretches in the whole city, always full of traffic and new buildings popping up every month. Our college is right in the thick of all that movement. It is a place where students come to learn about teeth and everything else related to dental work. The building is several stories tall and has all the clinics and the classrooms inside. You can often see the students in their white coats walking around the corridors or heading to the nearby shops for a quick tea during their breaks. It is a bit of a serious atmosphere because of the clinical work and the patients, but you still hear plenty of chatter in the common areas and the canteen. We don’t have much space for big gardens, being right on a main road, but the building is well-used from top to bottom. Patients come in and out all day for the dental clinics, so there is a constant flow of people through the main entrance. The staff room is usually a busy place where the instructors talk about the day’s cases and the students' progress. It is not a shiny, corporate hospital; it is just a working college where people are learning their trade every day.
