Maruthi Motor Driving School

If you find yourself near the Vyalikaval Swimming Pool Extension, you might notice Maruthi Motor Driving School tucked away on 11th Cross. We’re right opposite the street from the pool, at No. 59/1. It’s a nice part of Malleswaram, a bit more residential than the main market areas, but still plenty of traffic to deal with. Our office is a simple room with a few chairs and a desk covered in papers. We don’t have any big signs or fancy decorations. Usually, there is a car or two parked nearby with the "L" board on it. We spend our mornings and evenings helping people figure out how to handle the gears without stalling. It can be stressful for some people, so we just try to keep things calm. The neighborhood is full of trees, which makes the early morning classes quite pleasant before the Bangalore heat really kicks in. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat or ask about the traffic rules. We’ve been part of this street for a while now. The furniture inside is a bit old, and the walls could probably use some fresh paint, but it works for what we do. People come here because they live nearby and want someone they can talk to normally. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the cars, and the students trying to navigate the 11th Cross lanes.
