Maria Imports & Export Co

Maria Imports & Export Co is located in Ramamurthy Nagar, over in Mirzapur. We’re in a building called Sri Krishna Rukhmani Nivas at number 5. It’s more of a residential-looking area than a typical commercial district, which makes it a bit quieter than the main roads. We do a lot of our work on the computer and the phone, dealing with different suppliers and making sure the shipments are moving like they should. Our office isn't very big. It’s mostly desks piled with papers, customs forms, and shipping logs. We spend a lot of time waiting for calls from different time zones, so sometimes the hours get a bit strange. It’s not like a regular nine-to-five job where you leave and forget about it. There’s always a container somewhere that needs tracking. We have a small crew here, and we’ve all been doing this for a long time. We know the local porters and the guys at the transport offices by name. Sometimes we have to run out to the docks or the warehouse to check on things personally. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the details are right. We don’t have a showroom or anything to look at. It’s just us in here, surrounded by files and coffee cups, trying to make sure everything gets where it needs to go without too much trouble. Every day brings a different set of challenges with logistics and paperwork, but we manage to stay on top of it all.
