Manjula Surendra

We have been set up here at Elphinston Road for a long time now. Most people know the spot near the Bangalore GPO, it is quite easy to find if you are in the area. My name is Manjula, and I am the one who runs things around here. It is not a big fancy office or anything like that, just a simple place where we get the daily work done. Usually, it is just me and a couple of other people helping out with whatever comes up. We deal with people from the neighborhood mostly. Some days are very busy and others are quite quiet, but that is just how it goes in this part of town. I started this because I wanted to do something on my own. It took some time to get the space at number 98 sorted out properly, but we have made it work for us. If you are walking down Elphinston Road, you will probably see our sign out front. We do not spend any money on big advertisements or things like that. Most of the folks who come here find us by word of mouth from their friends. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of all the traffic outside, but we try to keep the inside tidy enough for visitors. We just do our tasks and help anyone who walks through the door. It is a very straightforward business. We do not have a corporate team, just us.
