Manipal Hospital

R.R. Nagar has a different feel compared to the rest of the city, and our hospital in BHEL Layout reflects that. It’s more of a neighborhood spot. You see a lot of familiar faces if you stay here long enough. The building isn't the tallest in the area, but it’s easy to spot once you get into the layout. We’ve got a small team here compared to some of the massive branches, so everyone tends to know everyone else's business. It makes the day go by faster. We don't go in for all those polished brochures or corporate slogans. We just have our desks, our equipment, and our daily routines. The morning shift starts early, usually while it’s still a bit cool outside. By noon, the waiting area is full and the humidity starts to kick in. We spend a lot of time talking to families and showing them where the different labs are located. The stairs are usually faster than the elevator if you’re only going up one floor, which is a little tip we tell most people. It’s a local place for local people. There’s a park nearby where some of the staff go for a walk after they finish up their shift. We aren't trying to be anything other than a hospital in R.R. Nagar. It’s simple, it’s busy, and it’s where we work every day without much fuss or fanfare. We just do what we can.
