Manipal Hospital Bangalore

This is the Bangalore location on Old Airport Road, and it’s a place that most people around here know by sight. It’s a large facility, and it stays busy around the clock. There’s no such thing as a quiet hour here; even at three in the morning, there’s someone walking through the corridors or a light on in a window. We don’t bother with the corporate polish or the fancy talk you might find in a brochure. This is a working hospital. Our days are filled with the sound of monitors beeping and the smell of floor cleaner. We have a lot of different departments, and everyone just sticks to their own area to get their tasks finished. The staff are mostly local folks who know the best shortcuts to avoid the traffic on the main road. We don't really think about things in terms of "service" or "missions." We just think about getting through the shift and making sure the patients have what they need. The building has a lot of history to it, and you can see it in the architecture and the way the rooms are laid out. It’s a bit of an institution in this part of Bangalore. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, which is providing a place for people to come when they need help. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from start to finish every single day.
