Mandeep Concept Overseas operates out of an apartment building on K.R. Road. We are in unit A-303 of the Garudi Apartments. It’s not your typical corporate setup with glass walls and a reception desk. It’s more like a quiet workspace where we handle all our paperwork and calls. We’ve been here for a while now and the location works well for us since it is central. The elevator in the building is a bit slow sometimes, so we usually just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. Our desks are piled with files and catalogs from various suppliers. Dealing with overseas stuff means our clocks are always a bit off. Someone is often here late at night or very early in the morning to catch a call from a different time zone. It’s mostly just a few of us sitting around computers and talking on phones. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the day. The view from the window isn't much, just the street traffic on K.R. Road, but it keeps us connected to the city. We don't do much walk-in business, mostly just emails and shipping documents. It gets a bit cramped when new samples arrive, but we manage to find space for everything eventually. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the logistics don't get messed up. Sometimes the courier guy comes twice a day. We usually have the radio on low in the background.
