You can find Mamtha Home Appliances at number 1 on the Banaswadi Horamavu Main Road. Being right on the main road means we get a lot of noise and dust from the vehicles, but it also makes it very easy for people to spot us. The shop floor is crowded with washing machines, stoves, and refrigerators, so you have to be careful how you walk so you don't bump into anything. We have a few different brands on display, and they are all lined up against the walls. The lighting is okay, but it can get a bit dim in the back corners where we store the extra stock and the boxes. We usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out some of the traffic noise. The staff here consists of just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that; we just wear our regular clothes and talk to whoever comes in. Sometimes people just come in to ask for directions since we are right at a prominent spot on the road. We have a small plastic table in the corner where we sit to eat our lunch. It is a simple, no-nonsense shop where we just try to keep things moving and help people out.
