We started here because it was convenient for everyone involved. There’s no big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just a door and some people working inside on various social projects. Sometimes the parking on the cross road is a bit of a headache, but we manage. People often find us because they live nearby or have heard about Mami Social Foundation through word of mouth. We don't spend time on flashy things. Our desks are usually piled with stuff we need for the day's tasks. It’s a small operation but we keep busy enough. Being in Doddanekkundi puts us right in the middle of a lot of activity. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall knows us by name. It’s just how we like to run things, simple and direct without any extra polish or unnecessary complications. We just do the work. It's fine.
