Mallya Hospital

Mallya Hospital has been sitting here at No 1 Vittal Mallya Road for a very long time. It’s a well-known landmark in this part of town. The building has that solid, older feel to it, not like the new hospitals that look like hotels. We have a lot of history in these walls. Every day is different here. Some mornings it’s quite calm, and then suddenly the emergency area gets busy. We have staff who have been here for decades, and they know every corner of the building. The layout is a bit sprawling, and new visitors sometimes get turned around, but there’s always someone to point them the right way. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We are just a hospital that sees a lot of patients from all walks of life. The lobby area is usually full of people waiting or talking quietly. It’s a busy place, but it has its own rhythm. We don't bother with shiny advertisements or trying to look corporate. We just focus on the floors, the beds, and the people in them. It can be a bit loud with the traffic from Vittal Mallya Road, but once you’re inside, it’s all about the work. We’ve been part of the city's landscape for years and we just keep going. It is a practical, busy place that belongs to the city.
