Mallya Aditi International School

We’ve been here in Yelahanka for a while now, right across from the Wheel and Axle Plant. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the buses are coming down Bellary Road and everyone is trying to get through the gates at the same time. Mallya Aditi International School has a lot of history on this piece of land at the 5th mile. The building itself has seen plenty of wear and tear over the years, but it feels like home to those of us who spend our days here. Our teachers mostly live nearby in the surrounding colonies, so they know the local shortcuts and where to get the best tea during their breaks. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff—desks that have been scuffed up, chalkboards, and stacks of notebooks waiting to be graded. We don’t really go in for fancy talk or big promises. It’s just a place where kids show up, do their work, and play on the grounds when the weather isn't too hot. The office stays pretty busy with paperwork and parents dropping off forgotten lunchboxes or asking about the next holiday. Life here follows the rhythm of the school bell, and we’re used to the constant hum of the city right outside our walls. It’s a practical setup that works for the families in this part of Bangalore. We just keep things moving and focus on the day-to-day work.
