Our Unit II is out in Koralur Village, specifically at No. 93/3 and 93/4 in Kasaba Hobli. It’s a bit away from the city center, which means it’s a bit quieter until we start the day's work. Makita Power Tools India is based here, and we have a lot of ground to cover. The facility is mostly warehouse space filled with those familiar teal-colored boxes. It’s a lot of logistics. We spend a lot of time loading pallets and checking serial numbers. The village atmosphere around us is nice, but once you step inside the gates, it’s all business. It isn't a high-end office with glass walls. We have metal shelves and concrete floors. The sun hits the roof in the afternoon and makes it a bit warm, so we keep the big doors open for a breeze. Most of the staff here have been with us for years. We know the tools we’re moving. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic on the way out to the village, so we just sit on the crates and wait. We don’t do much in the way of fancy talk. If a tool works, it works. That’s what we care about. We’re just a bunch of people making sure that the local shops get their supplies on time. It’s a routine that works for us, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time without any fuss.
