Mahima Charitable Foundation

We are over at No 6, a place called Mahima, which is on Anekal Road. It’s in Jayaram Layout, right across from SV Dental College in the Bannerughatta area of Bangalore. Having the college right there makes it easy to give people directions. Mahima Charitable Foundation is based right here. It’s a busy part of the city, and the 560083 area always has people moving about. We’ve been here for quite a while now. The office is just a couple of rooms where we keep all the records and do our planning. It’s not very big, but it’s enough for what we do. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make us look "professional" for the public. It's just us in our everyday clothes getting things done. The traffic on Anekal Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to finish up our work before the sun goes down. Working at Mahima Charitable Foundation means dealing with a lot of small details every day. We have a lot of folders and stacks of mail on the tables. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical setup for a small foundation in Bangalore. We’ve got a small kitchen too where we make tea when the day gets long.
