The shop is located at 41 Basaveshwara Nagar, right in the 3rd Block. We are quite close to Havanur Circle, which is always packed with people and cars moving in every direction. If you walk in, you will see rows and rows of paint cans stacked up to the ceiling. We spend a lot of time at the mixing machine, trying to get the color just right for someone’s living room wall. It is a bit of a maze inside with all the hardware bins. We have drawers full of different sized screws, bolts, and hinges. People from the neighborhood usually come in for small things, like a new lightbulb or a pack of nails. It is a busy place and we are usually juggling two or three things at once. We do not have a fancy display or anything, just shelves packed with whatever people might need to fix their houses. Sometimes we get paint on our clothes, but that is just part of the job. The 3rd stage area is pretty active, so there is never a dull moment. We have been here long enough that we know most of the regulars who stop by. It is just me and a few others running the show. We open early and stay open until the sun goes down, just helping folks pick out the right tools or the right shade of white paint.
