Marathahalli is a place that never really sleeps, and being at number 481 means we are right in the thick of it. At Mahaveer Home Appliances, we spend our days surrounded by mixers, grinders, fans, and gas stoves. It’s a narrow shop, so we have to stack things pretty high to fit everything in. Sometimes it feels like you're walking through a maze of boxes. People come in looking for a spare part for a mixer they bought ten years ago, or they want to see the latest induction cooktop. We get a lot of people who have just moved to the area for work and need to set up their kitchens from scratch. It’s noisy because we are often testing fans or showing how a vacuum cleaner works right there on the floor. Marathahalli 481 is easy to find if you’re looking for it, but the traffic can be a nightmare during the evening rush. We usually have one or two people working on repairs at a small bench near the back. It’s a bit dusty with all the cardboard, but we try to keep the displays clean. We don’t do any big sales pitches. If someone wants a stove, we show them what we have and tell them the price. We like the regulars who come in just to chat or ask for advice on which brand lasts the longest. It’s a simple way to run a shop, and it keeps us busy from morning till night.
