Maharashtra Road Carrier Pvt Ltd operates out of No.19 in Sudhamanagar, specifically on the 1st Cross. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads around here. We’ve got a small gated area where we manage the transport side of things. The office is just a simple room with a couple of tables and some wooden chairs. You can usually hear the sound of trucks moving nearby or the neighbors talking. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations because we’d rather just do the work. Most of the guys here wear plain clothes and don't worry too much about appearances. We have a big calendar on the wall where we mark down everything, and it’s covered in scribbles. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it's completely silent for an hour. We drink a lot of water because it gets pretty hot in this part of Sudhamanagar. There isn't a lot of space for a break room, so we usually just eat our tiffins at our desks. We’ve been at this location for a good while, and most of the locals know who we are. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just keep the trucks moving and the records straight as best as we can. We stay open on Saturdays too. It’s a lot of work, but we prefer staying busy rather than sitting around.
