Mahanthi Poly Clinic Lab

Out here in R.P.C. Layout in Vijaya Nagar, we spend our days at 3390/39 on the 5th Cross. This lab is where all the samples come in and get processed. It’s a bit tucked away, but once you know the 5th Cross, it’s easy to find. The space at Mahanthi Poly Clinic Lab is mostly taken up by benches and equipment for testing. We have a lot of glass tubes and paperwork scattered around the desks because there is always something to write down. The neighborhood is fairly residential, so it’s not as loud as the main roads. We see people coming in early in the morning, usually before they’ve had breakfast, to get their blood drawn. The staff is mostly busy with the machines or labeling things so nothing gets mixed up. It’s a lot of standing and walking back and forth between the different rooms. We have some plastic chairs in the corner for anyone who needs to wait. The tile floor is white and we try to keep it clean, though it gets dusty pretty fast with the windows open. It’s a simple operation. We aren't doing anything flashy, just the basic lab work that needs to happen every day. By the time evening rolls around, we’re usually just finishing up the last reports and making sure the lights are off. It’s just another day in Vijaya Nagar for us.
