Bhavani Interiors

Bhavani Interiors is located right at the Puttappa Compound near the Mahadevapura bus stop on Whitefield Road. It’s a busy spot because the buses are always stopping and starting right outside. You can hear the conductors shouting all day long. We’ve got our workspace here where there’s usually a lot of sawdust on the ground and the smell of glue in the air. We spend our days looking at sketches and trying to figure out how to make things fit into the spaces people have. It’s a lot of measuring and then measuring again because things never go quite right the first time. The compound has a few other businesses, so there’s always someone coming and going. We keep our tools on the benches and sometimes things get a bit messy when we’re in the middle of a project. We don’t have a showroom with bright lights. It’s just where the work happens. Sometimes people stop by after getting off the bus just to ask about wood or finishes. We have our tea breaks out front and watch the traffic crawl toward Whitefield. It’s a practical place for people who actually do the building and the cutting. We handle the wood, the laminate, and the hardware every single day, and we’re usually covered in a bit of dust by the time we lock up at night. There is always a pile of scrap wood in the corner that we need to clear out.
