Mahabodhi Mallige Hospital

Mahabodhi Mallige Hospital sits right at the Siddapura Junction in Jayanagar. It’s a place that stays pretty busy because of the location on T Mariyappa Road. If you know this part of Bangalore, you know how much activity there is all day long. We have doctors and nurses moving around constantly, trying to keep up with everything. It’s not a fancy place, just a hospital where people come when they aren't feeling well. We’ve got different departments, but it all feels like one big, slightly messy family most of the time. The building has been here a while and it shows its age in some spots, but it’s sturdy. We spend a lot of time talking to families in the hallways. Sometimes the waiting area gets crowded, especially on Monday mornings, and we just have to manage the best we can. We don’t have a big marketing team writing things for us, so this is just how it is. We wake up, come to work, and help whoever walks through the doors. The junction outside is always noisy with horns and buses, but inside we try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible. It’s a lot of hard work, and by the end of the shift, we’re all pretty tired. But then we do it all over again the next day because that’s the routine here in Jayanagar. It is a very practical place for regular people.
