Maghaji Scooter House

We have been running this scooter shop at No. 14/6 on 3rd Cross in Journalists Colony for quite some time now. It is a small place but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Most days start early when we open the shutters and get the floor cleaned up before the first people show up. The street outside can get pretty crowded with traffic and people walking to work, so it stays noisy until late. We deal with all sorts of old and new scooters that people bring in when they are having trouble getting them to start. Our hands are usually covered in oil and grease by lunchtime. There is a small tea shop just down the road where we go when things are quiet for a few minutes. We keep a lot of spare parts stacked up on the shelves in the back, even though it is hard to find things sometimes in the dark. The building itself is older, and the walls could use a bit of paint, but it works for us. Living and working in this part of the colony means we know most of the neighbors by name. They drop by just to say hello or ask about a noise their engine is making. It is steady work and it keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late if a job is taking longer than we thought it would.
