About Madras Institute Of Technology – Education in Bengaluru
Our place is on Morrison 2nd Street in Alandur. It’s a quiet enough street most days, though Chennai traffic always finds a way to be loud eventually. We are at number 21. Madras Institute Of Technology has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. People around here know the building. It’s where the students go for their classes and lab work. The building itself shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy. We have different rooms for different subjects, and sometimes you can hear the machines running from the hallway. It isn't a high-rise glass building like the newer ones in the city. It feels more like a place where people actually do work. There are trees near the entrance that give some shade when the sun is really hitting hard in the afternoon. Sometimes the street gets a little narrow with the parked scooters, so you have to watch where you walk. Inside, it's mostly just classrooms and old offices. We don't spend much on decorations because it doesn't seem necessary for what we do. The staff stays busy with paperwork and helping out whoever walks in with a question. It’s a straightforward setup. We keep the doors open during the day and close up once the last batch of students finishes. It’s just how things have been running here for years and we don't see that changing much. It’s a local spot that stays focused on the daily routine and keeping things moving for everyone.
