Being located at C 104 in the Peenya Industrial Area 3rd Stage means we are surrounded by a lot of noise and activity. This part of town is all about manufacturing and hard work. Our unit is a bit old, and the metal roof makes quite a racket when it rains heavily in the evenings. We have got some heavy machinery that takes up most of the floor space, and there is always a bit of iron shavings or dust near the workbench. It is a place for people who do not mind getting their hands dirty. We do not have a fancy conference room; usually, if we need to talk, we just stand around the main table near the entrance. The light isn't great in the back corners, but we have enough lamps to see what we are doing. We have been in this stage of Peenya for a long time, so we know most of the other workshop owners on this block. We share tools sometimes or help each other out with loading stuff. It is a community of workers more than anything else. We do not have a big marketing budget or a corporate image to maintain. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start the machines. It is loud, it is messy, but it is what we do. The tea break at 4 PM is the only time it really gets quiet around here for a few minutes.
