Macro Tools Centre

Macro Tools Centre is located at 16 Sardar Patrappa Road, inside Kamal Estate. We are very close to the City Market, which means it’s always crowded and noisy around here. Finding parking is almost impossible, so most people just walk or use two-wheelers to get to us. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all kinds of tools. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where every single wrench and screwdriver is kept. We’ve been here for years, and the City Market area has always been this busy. Every morning we open up the shutters and start rearranging the displays that might have shifted. People come in looking for all sorts of things, and we spend our time digging through boxes to find the right size or type. It’s not a high-tech operation. We still use paper for a lot of things and talk to our customers face-to-face. It’s a gritty, real part of the city. The air is thick with the smell of the market and exhaust fumes, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We’ve built a life here at Kamal Estate. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just sell tools and try to make sure we have what people are looking for when they walk in. It’s a simple business in a very complicated and loud part of town. We just keep at it.
