Mac Machine Tools & Automation is located on the first floor of Parimala Towers. The building is number 64 on MES Road in Yeshwanthpur. If you know Bangalore, you know that Yeshwanthpur is a hub of activity. The traffic on MES Road can be quite something, especially during the morning hours when everyone is trying to get to work. Our office is up one flight of stairs. It’s a decent-sized space, but we have it filled up with machine parts and computers. It’s not a quiet library environment. There’s usually someone talking loudly on the phone or the sound of a drill coming from the back. We do a lot of automation work, so there are always half-finished projects sitting on the tables. The first floor is nice because we can see what’s happening on the street without being right in the middle of the dust. We don’t have any fancy coffee machines; we just get our tea from the guy downstairs. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy with our tools to worry about that. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we have a routine that works. We aren't interested in being the biggest company in the city. We just want to do our machine work and keep the customers happy without making a big production out of it. It’s a busy, messy, and productive place to spend the day.
