You can find M V Car Spares over at No.318 in Banashankari 1st Stage. We are right on the corner of 11th Main and the 50 Feet Road. It’s a decent neighborhood and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the folks living nearby over the years. Our shop is filled with all kinds of spare parts, mostly for the older cars that people still like to drive around here. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a bit of everything in stock just in case. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific bolt or light fixture, but we usually know where everything is tucked away in the back. We aren't one of those shiny new service centers with glass walls and uniforms. It’s just a practical space with concrete floors and metal shelves that have seen better days. Most of the time it’s just one or two of us here. We handle the customers as they come in and try to answer the phone when it rings, which is more often than you'd think. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we have a small fan that doesn't do much, but we keep it running anyway. We don't spend much time on the computer; we prefer talking to people face to face. It’s a honest way to earn a living. If you’re passing through the 1st Stage, you’ll likely see us there, just doing our daily tasks.
