M S Ramaiah Medicals College & Hospital

This is the M S Ramaiah hospital and college over on New Bel Road in Mathikere. It’s a large campus, and we are located in the Msr Nagar area. Because it is both a hospital and a medical college, there are always students, doctors, and patients moving around at all hours. It’s a very busy place, almost like its own little town tucked away in Bangalore. We have all kinds of departments here, from the emergency room to the specialized wards and classrooms. The building has been here for a long time and has seen a lot of changes as the city grew up around it. It’s not a quiet little clinic; it’s a big, noisy institution where something is always happening. Sometimes it can be quite confusing to find your way around the different wings and many floors. We have people coming from all over the state to get help, not just from here in Mathikere. The New Bel Road area has grown a lot around us with all kinds of cafes and shops, but inside the hospital gates, it’s all about medical training and patient care. The staff works long shifts, and you can see students always studying in the hallways or the canteen. It’s a place where a lot of life happens at once. We don't have a polished corporate image; it just feels like a hardworking public space where the job gets done. People might get lost sometimes, but there is usually someone around to point you in the right direction.
