Our business is set up at 3 Cottonpet in the Rajkamal Society on Karodiya Road. It’s one of those older parts of the area where the streets are a bit narrow and the neighbors have known each other forever. We operate out of a modest office space that stays pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. There’s always a ledger open on the desk and someone is usually on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on an order. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything moves along like it's supposed to. Cottonpet can be a hectic place with all the trade going on, but inside the society, it’s a bit more manageable. We deal with various goods and paperwork, nothing too complicated but it keeps us working through the lunch hour most days. The walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a few old photos. We don't spend money on fancy carpets or glass walls because that's not what we need to do our work. People drop by to drop off documents or just to have a quick chat about the market. We take our tea around four o'clock when the traffic on Karodiya Road starts to pick up. It's a straightforward way to earn a living, just staying organized and making sure the clients get what they asked for without any unnecessary drama or delays. We’ve been right here in Rajkamal Society for a long time now.
