Our shop is at number 69 on Lal Bag Road over in Vijayanagar North. It’s a very busy stretch of road and finding a place to park can be a real headache. We handle a lot of different cooling components, so the shelves inside are packed tight from the floor all the way to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around. If you’re looking for a specific part for a fridge or a cooler, it’s probably buried under a pile of something else, but we usually know exactly where to reach. The air inside the shop is always a few degrees cooler than it is out on the street, which is a nice relief during the summer months. We don't have any big neon signs or bright lights to get people’s attention. Most folks find us because they’ve been coming here for a long time or a friend told them where we were. It’s a lot of small talk with regular customers who are trying to fix their own appliances at home. Sometimes they bring in a broken bit of metal and we spend a while looking at it together to see what can be done. The main desk is always covered in old catalogs and little bits of wire. We don't bother much with making the place look fancy for visitors. It’s a practical space for people who need to get things fixed. When the traffic on Lal Bag Road gets bad in the evening, you can hear the honking all the way in the back.
