M C Transformers

Out here on Halagoi Road in Vijaya Nagar, things get pretty loud and greasy most days. We have been at 83/01 for quite some time now, handling transformers and all the heavy electrical stuff that comes with them. The shop floor is usually covered in some kind of oil or copper wire scraps. It is definitely not the kind of place you would want to wear your best clothes to. We spend most of the day winding coils or checking the insulation on old units that have been brought in for repair. It is heavy physical work, and the heat from the machinery can get a bit much during the summer months. We do not have a front desk with a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you will probably find us in the back with tools in our hands and dirt on our faces. Dealing with electrical components requires a lot of patience because one small mistake means the whole thing will not work. We get a lot of trucks coming and going because these units are way too heavy to carry by hand. The road outside can get very dusty, especially with all the traffic heading towards the main part of Vijaya Nagar. We are just a group of guys who understand how these machines tick. It is nothing special to look at, just a workspace where we get the job done. We have seen all sorts of breakdowns over the years. (247 words)
