Lucky Tools Center

Lucky Tools Center is located at 122 Avenue Road, specifically on the first floor of the S K R Market Complex. Getting up to the first floor with heavy tools can be a bit of a workout sometimes, but that’s just how the building is laid out. Avenue Road is always packed, and Gokhale Road isn't much quieter. If you’ve been to the S K R Market Complex, you know it’s a maze of small shops and traders. We fit right in there. Our space is filled with all sorts of hardware and tools, stacked up pretty high to make use of every inch we have. It’s not the kind of place where everything is neatly displayed behind glass. You have to look around a bit, and things are often moved from one corner to the other depending on what came in that morning. There’s always the sound of people bargaining in the hallways and the smell of old metal and grease. It’s a busy atmosphere. We spend most of our time answering questions or hunting down specific parts for customers who come in. It’s honest work and the days go by pretty fast when the market is in full swing. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It’s a bit cramped, but we make it work. Some days the lift is out of order and we just have to deal with it.
