Lokand Udyog

Lokand Udyog is located at 21 Kanakapura Road. We're also right near Athwalines Road and Parle Point. It's a bit of a long address to say all at once, but it's where we’ve been for years. We have a decent amount of space in this unit. The floor is just plain concrete and we don't bother with carpets because they would just get ruined with the type of work we do here. It’s a very practical setup. We handle a lot of different tasks throughout the week. Some days are mostly just paperwork and other days we are moving heavy stuff around all afternoon. It’s just a group of us working hard to keep things moving. We don’t use any corporate jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We're just a local business. The traffic on Kanakapura Road can be a real nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap things up before the worst of it hits. Our shop front isn't very flashy or modern. We have a sign, but it's gotten a bit faded from the sun over the seasons. Inside, it's mostly stacks of materials and our old tools. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else walking in. Parle Point is a good area to be in. There are plenty of places to grab a quick tea nearby when we need a break. It’s an honest way to work.
