Link Forwarders operates out of SNS Arcade on Airport Road. It’s an A Block office, number 32, and it’s a place where we’ve spent many hours. The HAL area in Bangalore is always humming with the sound of traffic and airplanes. You get used to the background noise after a few days. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s a practical space designed for getting things done. We have a few rows of desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. The light comes in through the windows and hits the dust motes in the afternoon. We usually have the radio on low or just the sound of someone explaining a route over the phone. Being on Airport Road means we see a lot of people passing through. SNS Arcade is a busy spot with other businesses too, so there’s a bit of a buzz in the corridors. We don't spend money on fancy signs or expensive rugs. We prefer to just keep the computers running and the paperwork moving. It’s a small team here, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We take our breaks together sometimes and talk about the traffic or what’s for lunch. It’s a very grounded way to work. We’ve been here at No. 22 for a while, and it feels like home now. The work is steady, and we just keep at it day after day without much fuss or bother.
