Lilly Hotel

Lilly Hotel is right on PM Road in the Domlur S I R area. It’s a spot that’s been around for a while. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It’s just us running the place day to day. We have rooms for people staying over and we serve food too. The kitchen starts early in the morning, around 5 AM, so there is always the sound of clinking plates. The building shows its age in some places. There are some water marks on the ceiling in the hallway that we need to paint over. Most of the guests are just passing through or working nearby. We keep the rooms as tidy as we can, but it’s a constant battle with the dust from the road. PM Road gets very busy and the noise from the buses is something you just have to get used to. I spend a lot of time at the counter talking to people or checking the registers. It’s not a glamorous job. Sometimes the helper doesn't show up and I have to carry the luggage myself. We don't have an elevator, so it’s all stairs. It keeps us fit, I guess. We try to keep things simple and functional. There aren't any extra frills here. If you need a place to stay in Domlur, we are right here on the main road. It’s just a modest building with a few people working hard to keep it all going.
