Lido

Lido is over on Ulsoor Barewal Road at number 41275. It’s a spot that’s easy to miss if you’re driving too fast, but we’ve been here long enough that most locals know the way. The building is older and has its quirks, like the door that sticks a bit when it rains. We don’t mind it much though. Most of our day is spent making sure everything is stocked and ready for whenever someone walks in. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but we still get plenty of foot traffic. We aren't one of those places with a lot of neon lights or loud music. We prefer to keep things quiet and simple. I usually start the day with a cup of tea while I look over what needs to be done. There’s always a list, even if it’s just in my head. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a minute before they go about their business. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of social media stuff going on. We just stay here and do what we do. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. We appreciate everyone who stops by, whether they’ve been coming for years or it’s their first time. It’s just how we run things here on Barewal Road. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the shop open.
