Leonardo Automation India Pvt Ltd is based out of the KIADB Industrial Area in Kumbalagodu. We are on the first floor of building 20/B, right on the 1st Cross in the 1st Phase of the area. Being located in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of background noise from all the factories nearby. You eventually get used to the constant sound of machinery and the faint smell of grease in the air. It is a real working-class kind of place. We have a decent-sized floor where we put various things together. It is not air-conditioned in the main work area, so it can get quite warm during the afternoons. We just drink plenty of water and keep the big industrial fans on high. The team here is a good mix of older guys who have seen everything before and some younger ones who are still learning the ropes. We do not have a lot of strict rules about what time you have to be sitting at your desk, as long as the work gets finished on time. It is a system based on trust. We do not go in for big marketing campaigns or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who already know us or have heard about us from a friend. It is all about being reliable and showing up. We have been in Kumbalagodu for a while and have seen the industrial area grow up around us.
