Legacy School

Out here in Byrathi Village, things have changed quite a bit since we first set up on 6/1 A and 6/2. This part of Bidarahalli Hobli used to be much quieter, but the East Taluk is growing fast these days. You can see new buildings going up all around us. We are tucked away a bit, which is nice because it keeps the noise from the main roads down. The school building has its quirks, like any place that’s been lived in for a while. Our staff usually gets here early to beat the morning rush. We spend our time checking on the classrooms and making sure the grounds are tidy before the first bell. It’s a practical sort of place. We don’t have those massive glass walls you see in the city center, just normal brick and mortar that gets the job done. The neighborhood families stop by often, and we’ve gotten to know the local shops around Byrathi quite well. Sometimes the rainy season makes the roads around here a bit muddy, but that’s just life in this part of town. We just focus on the day-to-day work. It’s not about being flashy, it’s just about being here for the kids and making sure they have a decent place to spend their day while their parents are at work. The bell rings at the same time every day, and we start all over again.
