Leela Industries

We started Leela Industries a while back in Vijaya Nagar. It’s right behind the telephone exchange in the 1st block. We do fabrication and some machine work here. It’s a busy spot. The workshop gets loud when the machines are running, but that's how it goes. We handle a lot of different orders. Sometimes people come in with a sketch on a piece of paper, and we try to figure out how to make it for them. It’s not always easy. We have a small team of guys who know what they’re doing. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The street gets a bit crowded with trucks, but we manage. We aren't some big fancy office. It’s mostly just grease and metal. We open early and stay until the job is done. If someone needs a part fixed or something welded, they just drop by. We try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. Sometimes parts take longer to get than we want, which is frustrating. But we keep moving. The neighbors know us well. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People just find us by word of mouth mostly. It’s a simple setup. We focus on getting the work done right so it doesn't come back. That’s pretty much how we spend our days here in Vijaya Nagar. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks.
