Leb Mex

Koramangala VI Bk 487 is the place where we are located. It is a simple brick building and we are right on the ground floor. The kitchen is definitely the biggest part of our shop because that is where all the actual work happens. We have a very small area out front with just two tables. Most people who come here just stand around the entrance or wait on their bikes for their food. Koramangala is always changing and new buildings go up all the time, but our little corner stays pretty much the same year after year. We have an old fridge that hums very loudly in the corner. Sometimes we have to give it a little kick to make the noise stop for a while. The walls are painted a simple white and we have a wall clock that is always five minutes fast. We never bother to change it because it helps us stay on time during the lunch rush. We start all our prep work early in the morning when it is still relatively cool outside. By the time the busy hours start, the kitchen gets very hot and cramped. We have a small radio but we can barely hear the music over the sound of the exhaust fans. We don't have a very big menu at all. We just do what we know and try to keep the ingredients fresh. Sometimes we run out of things by the evening and just close up early.
