Learners Pu College

We’ve been here at No.1152 on 6th Main for quite some time now. Most people around Vijaynagar 1st Stage know the building by now. It is not one of those fancy glass-and-steel places you see in the newer parts of town, just a regular college where students show up every morning to get through their pre-university years. Running a place like Learners Pu College in Mysore means dealing with a lot of different kinds of kids. Some are really quiet and just want to get their notes done, while others need a bit more pushing to focus. We spend a lot of our time just keeping things organized and moving. The hallways get pretty noisy between classes, and the staff room is usually a bit of a mess with piles of papers and half-finished cups of tea. It is just how it goes when you are trying to teach. We do not have some big philosophy written on the walls. We just open the gates early, make sure the classrooms are ready, and get to work. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the water cooler acts up, and we just have to fix it and move on. That is just life here. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, with new shops opening up all around us, but we are still here doing the same thing. It is a busy spot in Mysore, and there is always something happening, whether it is exams coming up or just a regular Tuesday.
