Laxmi Plastic & Press Components

You can find us on Whitefield Road, right across from the panchayat office. Our workshop in Maheshwarinagar is where we spend most of our time making plastic parts and press components. It’s not a quiet place because the machines are usually running from early morning until we close up. There is always that specific smell of warm plastic in the air, but you get used to it after a few days. We are a small group of people who just know how to run these presses. Some of the equipment has been with us for years, and we’ve learned all their little quirks. The yard outside sometimes gets piled up with leftover scraps or old crates that we haven’t had a chance to move yet. We aren’t doing anything fancy or high-tech here. We just provide basic components that other businesses need for their own products. Some days the power goes out, and we end up sitting outside on the bench talking until it comes back on. It’s not a polished corporate office with air conditioning and fancy chairs. We wear our work clothes and usually have a bit of grease on our hands by noon. We just try to finish the orders that are on the list for the week. It’s a very simple way of doing business. We like the work and the fact that we’ve been in this same spot for so long.
