Our office for Lafarge Aggregate & Concrete India Pvt. Ltd. is on the first floor of Nirmala Arcade. We are located at No. 780, right on the 80 Feet Road in the 4th Block of Koramangala. If you know Bangalore, you know how busy the 80 Feet Road gets at almost any hour of the day. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, but mostly we just hear the honking and the buses going by. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We have our desks set up and we spend most of our time on the phone or looking at schedules for the concrete deliveries. It is a different vibe than being out at the plant, but it is where all the planning happens. Koramangala is a lively place to work, with plenty of spots to grab a quick tea during breaks. We don't really have a big sign out front, just the name on the directory in the arcade. Dealing with aggregate and concrete means we are always looking at numbers and trying to coordinate with the various sites across the city. It gets pretty hectic during the peak construction season. We aren't trying to be anything we are not; we are just a group of people working in a busy part of town, making sure the logistics for the concrete side of things keep moving forward as they should.
