Kv Karisiddaiah

We have been at 140/2 in Chickpet for quite some time now. If you know this part of town, you know it gets crowded pretty early in the day. Kv Karisiddaiah is just the name on the board, but for us, it is where we spend most of our waking hours. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at. We have the same old counters and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we do. Most days start with opening the locks and dusting off the shelves before the first lot of people start trickling in. It is loud outside with all the carts and the people shouting, but inside we just try to keep things organized as much as possible. We don't really do the whole big advertising thing. People usually find us because they were told by someone else or they just happened to be walking past on the street. Dealing with the suppliers takes up a good chunk of the afternoon. Sometimes the stock comes in late and we have to stay back a bit to get everything sorted. It is just how it goes here. There is a tea stall nearby that brings us glasses throughout the day which helps when things get a bit hectic. We aren’t trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the person standing in front of us gets what they came for and leaves satisfied enough to come back next time.
